The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast is good, the towels are terrible and there is nothing but soap on the bathroom
very poor for a 4 to 5 start hotel

Disliked: Amenities
The room they put me in was not super welcoming, very cold. Didn't have lotion, robes or any other basic items like this that a hotel of this caliber usually has. The window was very small, just a cold, kind of bland room overall. Clean though. The breakfast was nice.

Liked: Cleanliness
Lack of English-speaking personnel, no black tea available at breakfast or in the lobby, no sanitary bag/vanity material in the room, no slippers in the room, only one nightstand next to the queen bed, the remote control was not working, and I was unable to explain my needs to the receptionist in English. A nicely decorated and new hotel, with personnel who are polite but cannot speak at least a few words of English. I recommend Garbo restaurant for dinner in the hotel.
The room at know where to put your luggage. The bathroom didn’t have the shower every day. That is the norm in Brazil. The lighting was weird. It was just too bright. The mattress was very uncomfortable. It was not good quality. Overall I would never choose this property again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Equipe muito gentil. Destaque para a Duda, que trabalha na recepção e aos demais funcionários, inclusive no café da manhã, que por sinal é maravilhoso. Todos de parabéns! Pretendemos retornar.
AVOID THIS HOTEL. What we experienced was completely unacceptable for any establishment claiming to offer hospitality.
From the beginning, it was clear the hotel suffers from serious operational failures and a lack of basic customer service standards. The staff consistently demonstrated confusion and an inability to perform even the simplest tasks.
Room-cleaning policy:
The hotel informed us that rooms are not cleaned at all for stays longer than two days. No housekeeping, no restocking of towels, nothing. For a hotel, this is both unsanitary and unreasonable.
Front desk incompetence:
We submitted our clothing for laundry on Friday evening. When we requested it on Saturday, the staff mistakenly assumed we were checking out and returned only our previously worn items. Even after our lawyer clarified—in Portuguese—that we were staying an entire week, the hotel only then sent the clothes to be cleaned.
By Sunday afternoon, they admitted the laundry had been lost entirely and they could not locate any of it. When we asked how such a failure could occur, the staff simply shrugged and stated there was nothing they could do. No apology, no accountability, no urgency.
Across three days, we dealt with:
• No room cleaning
• No towel restocking
• Lost laundry worth thousands of dollars
• Completely indifferent staff
While we eventually received a refund for the stay, the financial loss of our clothing—and the hotel’s dismissive attitude—was infuriating.
DO NOT stay at this hotel. It's more of a hostel. The rooms are subpar- the hotel staff members act like they never finished grade school. They lost our clothes when we sent them to the dry cleaning, HOW DO YOU LOOSE 20 clothing items?!?!?!??!?!
When we complained, they didn't care and said, "There is nothing we can do." BUT WE GAVE YOU THE CLOTHES!!!! HOW DO YOU LOOSE CLIENT CLOTHES!?!?!?!
The attitude of the staff was infuriating dealing with them on a daily basis. Beyond the incompetant staff, they do not clean the rooms even if you request for it. Our business group booked the stay at the hotel for a week and no one cleaned our rooms.... when we requested for it, they simply ignored it. Absolute filth.
I have no idea how this hotel got 4.5 stars but DO NOT STAY HERE.
Quarto velho, o hotel não tinha lugar para estacionar nossos carros durante as 2 diárias, em nenhum momento, precisamos parar num estacionamento externo, o que foi ruim! O café da manhã, no entanto, era bom!
