The room showed some wear and tear. Door screen was torn; one light next to the bed had no light switch as it was broken. The unit door would not shut unless I forced it. It is a property that I am sure experiences family use, so took that under consideration.

I haven't stayed at this property since it was a Ramada Inn, I think. It has greatly, greatly improved and I think it is probably one of the nicest places near downtown Galena. We had a good time. Rooms are nice size and mostly clean. Water park was fun, especially for the little ones. There toddler area was great. Not the best place for older kids. The restaurant has decent food

Another great stay at the Scandinavian Lodge. The room was spacious and clean. The location is great. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the staff was friendly at check-in, checkout and when we called the front desk with a question. Would stay again!
