I just loved everything about my stay at King’s Bay Lodge. It was like a visit to Florida when It was still super cool but not so hectic. I plan to come back and bring my family!

Perfect location
Perfect location. Right on King's Bay. Easy drives to Homosassa river and the Chassahowitzka. Within walking distance or short drive of superb eateries. We loved Amy's on the Avenue and Seller's Seafood. Old school motel but with boat launch/pier and a nowhere else to be found natural fresh water swimming pool with (small) fish swimming in from the bay. Able to park outside your room. Don't expect too much from the accommodations however. The room is actually a studio with full kitchen but shows its age, except our bathroom is brand new. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again.

rooms need a good detailed cleaning,upgrade on tv quality and reverse cycle hvac system very noisy. Good point was staff helpful but working with what appears to be short staff and needed upgrades.

Nice stay
Pipe broke in a room next to us, but we were fortunate enough to not need to use bathroom before checking out. The accommodations were great, we felt bad that happened to the establishment.

i love the location of this cute motor lodge style motel. i always bring my paddle board with me and this is the perfect place to stay to hop on the water steps from your door. there are a few decent restaurants within walking distance.

Ease of putting a kayak in the water was awesome!! Didn't have to drive to or pay any "extra" to do so. No room for visitor parking - i didn't have any this time but its a place that would be nice to have additional friends or family stop by.

Our room was almost exactly like the one pictured on the website - ours was red, white and blue and very "Americana". Bed was super comfortable, chairs reclined, bath was tiled and shower with hand held, fully outfitted kitchenette. We walked in and it made us smile

Hard beds
Room was clean, amenities in the room, parking right in front. Only complaint the bed was very hard and sheets were rough. Thankfully it was a quick over night passing through but we will do more research next time.

This property was excellent. A hidden gem on all accounts. The swimming pool was a spring and just wonderful.The rooms were comfortable, decorated so nice, very clean with more than enough room for four people. The grounds were perfect with under cover grills and picnic tables. They provide towels for the pool area and docking for under 28ft boats. No trailer parking on the grounds but there is parking off site. The place was so quiet, relaxing and right on the river. All outside grounds and pool area were immaculate. Staff were so friendly and helpful and provided any info on things around town. Their room rates were more than fair with all they had to offer. We will be back!!!!!

Great place to stay in Crystal River
Very nice rooms.. ours had a full size fridge, stove, microwave, and king size bed. It was also very nicely furnished and decorated. It’s walking distance to lots of restaurants and little quaint shops. It’s located right on the water and the spring fed pool is amazing! We will def stay here again!!

Great little motel.
Great place as a base camp for day outings in the area. Full size fridge and kitchen was best for eating in. Interesting natural pool. Only downside was the wifi was intermittent and slow.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kings Bay Lodge. We’ll stay there again! Casual, communal atmosphere. Recently, beautifully removal, new mattresses. Given the times we were impressed with their Covid policy. The outdoor space includes cook out areas, shaded pavilion, a lovely view of Kings Bay & a natural spring swimming pool with a slide. FIVE STARS !!!

We loved the laid back open feel of the entire place! We even saw manatees right off the boat docks and the Florida pool looks magical and we cannot wait to visit in the warmer months for a longer stay! This is one of those special places you can visit alone, a second honeymoon, and even a family experience! Easily walkable to shopping and parks as well. Really this place is a magical gem we will visit again and again!

Well worth the money
This old Florida motel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. It’s not much to look at on the outside, but inside the rooms are very large suites with comfortable furniture, nice tv and small kitchenettes. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.

This quaint waterfront motel was so appealing! The tastefully furnished room included a fully equipped kitchen with a full stove and oven. In addition, a grill was available outside for all to use and there was a warm spring-fed pool with crystal clear water. The location was ideal, a block from the center of town, and walking distance to the Three Sisters Springs and public parks! We look forward to staying here again!
