"Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller."

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. "Really nice location. Plenty of parking. Room was nice and clean, bed comfy everything as expected really. Spa facilities were great, generous time slots and staff helpful. Only thing was the lockers in the changing rooms need some money spending on them, they not great. There’s a pub and a cake shop on site and a few other artisan type shops.
