"Had a lovely stay this weekend. The cooked breakfast was lovely! Staff very friendly. I liked the trolley available to help ourselves to top ups of towels, water and extra tea and coffee supplies. Quiet location. Bed was a little creaky, but comfortable, on ground level which was nice too. Bathroom grouting could do with a little de-moulding, and shower heads could be a little higher. Also plug sockets by the bed would also be more helpful. But overall, i cant complain and would stay again!"

"We were warmly welcomed, and even though we had arrived just as they were preparing to close the restaurant, they kept a table for us, and as it happens, some other latecomers. The food was freshly prepared, and worth the wait. In the morning the courtesy continued, attentive without being overbearing. Setting was good too. Highly recommended."

"What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. "This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. They are friendly and welcoming. The chef there is fantastic! He is gradually changing the menu, but all the food we had was superb! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. "It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter."
