"English breakfast is excellent. Staff is very friendly. The shower screen is only half way so water sprays outside to the wall and floor. The firedoor upstairs at the top of the stairs is kept open and the firedoor along the corridor doesn't close properly. These need attention for fire regulations. "

"It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. The situation of the hotel made it easy to walk to the old castle, and Sherborne itself is picturesque and...

"A really lovely night's stay. Friendly and quick check in. Warm and comfortable room, beautifully furnished. And an amazing shower! Breakfast was fantastic, a very good selection which was freshly cooked to order. There is a friendly pub over the road which serves basic, but tasty food in the evenings. "Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept. Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am. I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again. Lastly, price was unbeatable."
