The room was clean and specious, but the room was dated. I was unable to get the shower to work so I took a bath. The TV controller needed batteries and the electric cattle had a broken part. The breakfast menu selection was great and the hotel is in close proximity to West Highland Way. The room did not offer a refrigerator.

We stayed here to do some walking on the WHW. Our room was very spacious and clean, it was cleaned every day and coffee and milk etc was replenished each day. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The bar area was a little outdated but still fine for a drink after a long days walking. What really stood out was the lovely staff, they were all so friendly and happy to help. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable overnight stop

Very friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely views from the top floor restaurant. Evening meal was good and good choices for breakfast. Easy to walk to the village too. The hotel is large and caters for big groups but we were lucky that it was quite a quiet night when we stayed. Wouldn't stop us booking another time.

We arrived walking off the West Highland Way: soaked to the bone and exhausted. There was a big loud tour bus offloading at the same time, and the young woman at the front desk was so considerate and gracious — without asking, she guided us off to the side and checked us in ahead of the group.
