"We had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Chris and Tracey were very warm and welcoming. The cake was a nice surprise. We took our dog, and he really enjoyed himself. The rooms are all large so plenty of room for him to lie down, and we had the use of a field to walk him in. "

"The wifi is not great. So if you are planning to have some office work, I recommend take 5G device with you. Vodafone 4G worked for us but if you sit near the window. The cottage is nice and as advertised. However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite). "A fabulous old building with charming interior. Very comfortable rooms and dining room. Clean room and bathroom; certainly adequate for a short stay staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a feas.. Be aware that the parking is not onsite as listed. Strongly advise phoning the hotel for info and directions."
