"There is no staff so it’s hard to review that. However communication was clear and quick. Great room. Remodel very well done. Broken walkway was a safety hazard going up the front lawn. But If still give it an A. We stayed 5 different places in West Virginia and Virginia including the Jefferson in Richmond and this is the place I will revisit."

"Staying at the Berkeley was amazing. Beautiful grounds, neat to have the Frederick suite. Almost too big for 1, but I sure felt at ease and relaxed. A much needed "me time." The gelato ice cream was a plus and everything was in walking distance: especially to the Chop House for dinner. My daughter even met me there who goes to JMU. Great getaway and close enough to JMU to see and plan events around that area. Would come back in a heartbeat ."
