"The area is in the heart of the bronx! Everyone stays to their own. The property was perfect for what your going for..travel and fun. The staff is great and friendly..do not underestimate the deli to the right when you step out of the lobby. Polite and great food, quick and efficient. If your boujee you're in the wrong town...this area is open..new age...and home grown. Simple. Yet complex in their own way. I would stay agin if in the area! Great for a Yankee game!"

"The room we had original AC wasn’t working right in room 403 (so clean) called front desk and he was such a sweetheart, when I went back to lobby the new room key was ready. Room 406 was so CLEAN!! Ice machine on the 5th floor wasn’t working, Thank god there was ice cups at the corner store. The location is amazing on 3rd ave. Parking also. Smoking or non smoking room. Vending machines had raw paper also 😂!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN!!!!"
"I read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. "
"I like almost everything. The part that I like the least and would like to improve is to have all the food available until 9:30. It run out too quickly. Because breakfast time is 6:30-10:00 But sometimes I comes down on 8:30. Somethings are out of stock and the staff informed that it was no longer refilled . However overall the staff and others are very good. I will recommend to others and come again certainty.

"This is a small hotel with great staff and excellent location. Rooms are very small so if you're someone who likes to spend a lot of time in your room, this is probably not for you if you're more than 1 person. But we were out and about most of the time so it was perfect for us. Two suggestions: the outdoor patio needs attention in order for guests to use and it would be helpful if the room with multiple tables could be opened before 9am since the available tables around the coffee area filled...
