Great experience, friendly staff, the lodge is one of a kind, our room was located in the newer building near the lagoon which was equally beautiful serene. The onsite resturant is fantastic. Amazing food with friendly staff who provided prompt and excellent service. Our server was knowledgeable with the menu and gave us some great local options to explore.

The Captain Whidbey is such a special place to stay on Whidbey Island. It’s a charming historic property surrounded by beautiful scenery. We stayed in a king lagoon room which had a beautiful view. The only negative is the mattress was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. But the property as a whole was lovely and don’t miss out on the restaurant. We had dinner & brunch there, both of which were fantastic.
