Maybe we came in the wrong moment but it was horrible... when check in the receptionist wasnt friendly barely can hear her with the cooler machine making noise. Than she tell us that the key door wasnt working.. they have to open the door for us... didnt like that cause i had my stuff in the room.. than no wifi i had to miss work because of that... the room had dead cricket's or grasshoppers.. The water stink as well...overall i felt so uncomfortable that i was supposed to stay 2 nights i end up leaving afger the 1st night.. they were suppose to refund 1 night and havent dine that either. Dont recommended staying here

Stayed here as a pitstop not expecting a great place in lil ol Cotulla, but WOW. Attention to detail and creating a truly first class experience cannot go unnoticed! Room was nice and clean, and hospitable staff made my stay perfect here. This place was better than nay Laredo hotel

Stayed here plenty of times but this stay was not so good. There were dried buggers on the wall dead crickets in the restroom and no curtain in the restroom windows. I mean seriously no curtain, we checked it out and you were able to see into the restroom.
The bed was soo comfy. The room we stayed in was clearly a handicap room.

Please accept our apologies that your were disappointed your room on this stay. The 3 end rooms do have a small window facing east and have never had curtains as there is a vacant lot next door. This is the first I have heard of a concern. I will review your concerns and consider a remedy. Thank you for calling this to my attention.
Very clean and quiet only negative was at my arrival time took me 20 minutes to check in.

It sounds like everything was great but we took too long to check you in. We apologize for that and hope you will give us a chance to do better next time you come our way.
I was charged $20. more than the hotels.com quote when the booking was confirmed. The room was not "freshened" after our first night - coffee was not replenished, bed not remade. For $100+/night, the free hot breakfast should be on weekends as well. Our room was lovely on arrival and the front desk staff we met during our stay was exceptional.

In fact it was a very special rate that was only available for a short period and I am glad that you were able to book that rate. I do not quite understand the confusion but I do know that you received the lowest rate we have made available in quite some time. We have had limited housekeeping services available during the pandemic for the safety of both our guests and our associates as have most hotels across the globe. I am sure you can understand the reasons for this. Our websites also try to explain that hot breakfast is available Mon-Fri and Grab & Go on weekends. I will review those sites and try to get a better explanation. Thank you for your great compliments on our staff and facilities and we hope to see you again soon.

Wonderful stay. Small details make a big difference. There were chocolate mints near the check in. Fruits and granola bars available for free. Coffee was amazing and breakfast was almost made to order. The rooms were modern and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was a good stay.

Nice hotel for the area, but the vinyl floors in the rooms haven't been properly cleaned in a long time. The floor pulled one of my socks off! The sticky shoe prints were there when I walked in the room.

The reason why I didn’t like my visit at this hotel is due to the fact that there was spiders crawling all over the place in both of the rooms that I booked not only that but there was also stains and a bird feather on the bed sheets I definitely don’t recommend
Glad we got to discuss this issue over the phone. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.. We at Malana do strive our best to provide cleanliness and hospitality for each guest every visit. We do hope next time you are in the area, you decide to stay with us.
We will be investigating this incident.
The service was great and employees are so helpful and nice i got better service here than at the Marriott.

It was very nice, quiet and clean.
It was over a hundred outside and they let us use a conference room and the breakfast area for my family to visit after we had spread a relatives ashes at the cemetery. Super nice people!

This was a great place to stay, unsure why room service didn’t come clean our room for a 2 night stay. I’m guessing with shortages due to COVID 19 they don’t have enough staff members because in order to get extra towels
