We were celebrating a milestone anniversary and desired to be in a special and unique setting; our hopes were exceeded! This is also a good base if you want to explore nearby historic towns, ghost towns, mountains and fun activities such as hiking, biking, rafting."

"I liked the price and the room. It was perfect for two adults on a mountain biking vacation. The location was perfect for riding trail 401. I did not like that we were not allowed to keep our bikes inside the room. Bike storage was not convenient. Otherwise, the instructions were accurate and check in and check out was simple."

"This is such a beautiful place! The view is incredible - mountains, clouds, river, trees! . We stayed in the Nook, the luxury cabin. The bed was ridiculously comfortable Great bathroom, kitchenette, hot tub outside! Spotless inside and cozy. Every time we contacted staff they answered promptly and were helpful. Seamless check-in Even with a last minute booking. They served a complimentary hearty, yummy breakfast with coffee. You won't be disappointed! And, they take dogs!"

"This historic inn sits in a beautiful scenic area surrounded by mountains. Much work has gone into renovating the old building. It has an old west vibe. Staff is quite helpful. Included, cooked to order breakfast was great. I wish they still served dinner as well. You can sit outside, take a walk, or just sit in the comfy lobby and gaze at the mountains. Room was very nice with an updated bathroom. Highly recommend a stay here, then a drive over Independence Pass in the summer"
