"Checked in after along work conference around 430 pm. Went grabbed dinner and a local Army duck tour which was conveniently just a simple miles away. The tree house room smelled like a well used sports locker room and I was informed I was using a community outhouse that was wristband accessible only....not ideal but manageable. The room never did air out. The mattress was the culprit. Sheets smelled clean, blankets yes, pillows....TBD. but the mattress....gross. outdoor pools close at 7pm fyi so enjoy it before dinner and tour, noted. Improvised with firewood and some marshmallows from local BP, walking distance for 21+. No graham crackers so used Chips Ahoy, highly recommend. Bathroom third from left is only one with reliable sink. Only bonus worth mentioning, firewood bundle $5, cheapest thing you'll buy in the dells. Go elsewhere for anything other than a bed to sleep for $115."

"Black Hawk Motel & Suites is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! They treat you like you're part of their family. Always our first choice when we go the Dells. Rooms are super clean and the service is amazing. Super friendly staff and very hard working. Love parking right next to the room door. Outdoor pool is the best!! Indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna great as well. Grill, snack/soda machines, and ice maching nice added touches. Walking distance to downtown or Uber works too. Great place to unwind for a couple of days or longer."

"The room was clean. The lighting was not great in the room. Good luck getting ready by the light over the mirror and the sink did not have a stopper. The check in waiver is a little odd. They need to do a better job of explaining why you have to sign a release. (They own other properties which do have water attractions."
