High class 1980's DDR Hotel

If you are used to high class Hotels, in the 1980-s DDR/East Germany, then you gonna feel like home here, because that was the feeling i got! Ok, it was nice, neat, convinient, clean. But, the AC was a bit noisy, the towels where fringly, the leather at the bottom om the bed was worn, the shower was a bit low, so with mine 181 cm, had to bend down a bit to get my head under the shower. But since this hotel was one of two in several miles, it did its purpose. But not any very good.

Wenn man etwas genauer hinsieht, ist es ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Schäden im Teppich auf den Gängen in den Fluren. Die Liegen am Pool haben auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Dem Leder der Barhocker sieht man das Alter auch schon an. Der Barkieper schien wenig Freude an seiner Arbeit zu haben, und einen Cocktail, der nicht auf der Karte stand, konnte oder wollte er uns nicht machen. Ansonsten war das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Früchstückbufett rechlich und immer frisch. Sobald sich etwas dem Ende neigte, wurde sehr schnell wieder aufgefüllt. Trotz der kleinen Mangel, war der Aufenthalt wieder schön und wir werden auch das nächste Mal wider dieses Hotel auswählen
