"Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise."

The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. "This is not walking distance from the Manchester airport. Just a heads up. Shuttle was not running & I found out that it only runs a few hours very early mornings. So just be prepared to spend 15 to 20 pounds for a taxi ride. With that said, great place. Needed a place to stay for about 10 hours to get a shower and nap before my next leg of an overseas flight.
