"First place that have stayed out at that can cook evenly on both sides and present hot! Suggest any visitors down size their luggage, as stairs are narrow and steep Weather was HOT during visit yet was not informed how to - if could reach - the attic window to allow better air flow"

"Hi, Cong is a lovely village to visit. All the staff I met at Ryan’s hotel were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. I really liked how in my room they had managed to keep some of the original stonework in the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep."

I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. "Fabulous property…. Everything top notch. Plenty of activities on the property from bike riding, golf, trap shooting, falconry, etc.. We stayed in Ashford Lodge which was just fine… you need a dinner / lunch reservation to get into the castle."
