The property is beautiful, a glimpse back into Georgian times with period pieces and interesting artwork. Our bedroom was stunning with 4 poster bed, roll top bath and a rainfall shower. Lovely luxury toiletries too.
Lighting was very dim though, with no overhead central light, so it was a struggle to see the mini bar and facilities in the wardrobe, and made it difficult to read.
At dinner, which was pretty good, most of the food locally sourced and plenty of carbon neutral drinks, sadly our server didn't know much about the menu at all and seemed new to dinner service, probably nothing some staff training couldn't solve.
