My husband has mobility issues. We arrived late at night ( assuming there would be an elevator) and discovered we were on the second floor. I asked if there was an elevator and was told there wasn’t one. I explained that my husband had back issues and was told there was only stairs. We were not offered a room in main floor. At the bottom of several steep steps there was a wheelchair ramp. I thought ok , maybe he can use that to go up to the second floor and then I could use it for the 50+ pound suitcase. However I was told the ramp didn’t work either. A couple of minutes later an attendant came and offered to carry the suitcase but another guest there had already started to lift it…. We were not offered a room on the ground floor. My husband ( who experiences debilitating back pain) had to climb all these stairs. We were faced with the same issue checking out ( only no hotel staff visible ) in the morning. I was disappointed to say the least! Thank God for the helpful guest.
