Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless. Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming. The town is just a short walk with some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from. Overall a fabulous stay."

"Lovely place just lacking in attention to detail. The bathroom needed a good dusting. The top of the bin was dusty, the extractor fan was full of dirt and there were old cobwebs hanging. I don’t think the blinds have been lifted or cleaned behind for a while. The breakfast was nice but we asked for tea and were bought just a pot of tea. No cups, no milk, no sugar. We had to get milk from the cereal table in a cup as there were no milk jugs. "

"Got an excellent price a week before the stay. Very comfy bed and a nice bar/breakfast area. We arrived an hour before check in time and staff were very helpful and let us check in immediately which is always appreciated."

"The room was nice and spacious with a good sized double bed although mattress wasnt as comfy as it looked. The ensuite was built into the corner of the room and was quite small, and when having a shower, the floor would become flooded. This would explain the damp smell when entering."
