Royal Rio Palace Hotel

"Everything was great about the hotel! Staff, room and service. Only thing missing from the hotel room was a iron. Clothes being packed all night from a flight need ironing but the hotel does off laundry and ironing service for a fee. Very close to train and beaches. Many restaurants in the area to choose from! Bartenders didnt speak English but everyone in the front desk did lol. 1 bartender gave my girl a coke with her drink for free while another Bartender charger her for it. Wifi service was 50/50. Going in and out at times. Most tour companies pick up from the hotel which made everything easy! Swimming pool was cool. I would suggest that they offer towels before entering the pool and more beach chairs for visitors who was to tan. Overall, I would book again"

"This was my first trip to Rio, and I really enjoyed my stay here. Well maintained property and rooms, and at a great location along Atlantico Blvd. The breakfast options could have been more, but it was good overall (had an omelet bar station). I would absolutely stay here again when I come back!"

"They advertise a balcony with the room! It's a 2 ft ledge you can barely stand on! You also get a kettle for hot water but no cups etc. The pictures and description of the rooms were very deceiving considering the price. The room was not very clean and had mold in the shower. Our first room didn't have a working tv and was smaller then what was advertised so they moved us! Second room wasn't much better! They did fix the fact we had no not water! The breakfast was big but not very inviting! Most of the front desk employees were very helpful. But when we arrived with our luggage (2 women over 65!) The guy at the door just stood there as we struggled to get our suitcases up the side ramp! We should of left then!"

"Excellent qualité prix , proche de tout, métro à coté 2 min à pied, plage de Copacabana 10 min à pied, plusieurs restos Bon petit déjeuner Personnel courtois et extrêmement gentils 3 jours avec ma fille et petite fille , que de l’agrément . "

"I had a group of 17 check-in late at night and all was ready for a seamless check-in. We had a full day tour before heading to the airport and the hotel accommodated all our luggage for later pick-up to go to the airport. I would book for my group again. Thank you."
Regency Park Hotel

"It's close to the airport, Santos Dumont. The room was huge but I didn't like the fact there were 3 beds in it: 2 twin and 1 king. No coffee maker. Headboard and night stands were very dated. Water pressure was strong and shower stall had shampoo and conditioner but no soap. Toilet has a bidet which I liked. I had a room facing the street and could street noise because the windows in the bathroom were kept open even though I had the bathroom door closed before going to bed. All the noise from the hallway i could also hear even with the room door was closed. Only 1 elevator was working and the voice on the elevator was quite loud. I didn't get to try the breakfast because I slept on so I couldn't comment on the quality and selection."

"Excepcional location on the best side of Copacabana beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful beach full of services (there is no beach service but plenty of vendors). Service is attentive and rooms are clean and cozy. Small pool with a sun deck and gym on the roof top with great views. Close to Ipanema beach, Arpoador and variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops. I highly recommend and will consider to be back in my next get way in rio"
