"There’s a strange way of getting to some of the rooms where you have to go downstairs before eventually climbing back up. The hotel itself is very well maintained although I’d wonder if the golf course sometimes takes a little of the priority."

"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. "The location is great as it is very central to the town. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Very clean room which had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely cooked breakfast, too. "

"Two criticisms of the bathroom. The soap and shampoo bottles were unreachable when I was having a bath. Far too high, only useful for a shower or at the basin. Also the non slip patches in the bath were very uncomfortable to sit on. Did the designer of the bath ever try to take a bath??"

"was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...

"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . Draw stuck out the side of bed . It would not close . I kept catching my leg on it . The headboard was dirty . The stairs was very steep. Not the best hotel. won't stay again . Meals was awful . "Welcoming helpful staff. Late-Afternoon meal needed re-cooking after not being cooked to requested quality. On return to hotel after a theatre show, found the bar already closing at 22:20 - rather early. Room was basic but clean enough. Bathroom radiator was very tatty, spoiling otherwise clean bathroom."
