Staff was great. Breakfast was way better than the typical Fairfield breakfast…more options which was nice! My only complaint isn’t just for this Fairfield but all of them collectively…would it kill you to put a comfortable chair in each room? All they ever offer is a very uncomfortable waiting room style chair. How about a cheap recliner? I think Marriott has it in the budget…

Nice hotel!

Our room was ready when we arrived at 4pm. Room was very clean and quiet (1st floor). Breakfast offerings were many and varied. Coffee was good! I will definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay when you don't want to pay the high rates in Columbia for a college weekend visit. The commute isn't bad. The breakfast was "ok" It was the same both mornings, but it just wasn't great. There was some variety and options but personally I felt it could be a little better. Still a good hotel overall.

We were inadvertently charged $570 three times on our credit card when we checked it; only the Manager could fix getting it taken care of and even then there was confusion. The first room we were assigned turned out not to have hot water so cool showers made for an unpleasant end of the day. Breakfast was good; easy parking, and easy access to highway and shopping. We will look for a different place next time.

The property is older though clean and safe. A few maintenence issues are popping up. The lobby, dining area and food were good. The staff was great. Our room had some maintenance issues (shower leaked from glass connection to wall, not enough outlets, phone face plate was missing) and it was not a quiet hotel. I only comment on the negative items because for the price per night, they were distractions from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Threadbare towels doesn’t begin to describe them. Literally holes in the ends, looked like lace at first glance. Bathroom floor was sticky to the point my shoes made sucking sounds. Decent breakfast, nice folks running it.
