Actually, all of the above. The room was clean, and welcoming. The staff were friendly, volunteered help, and spoke "understandable English". The Amenities were great, and the location by the Southpark Mall were a major plus, where we did not have to go far for food and necessities. We need to make this trip every once in a while, to see our son and family and this serves all our needs for multiple visits to the hotel.

The first room we were given faced a white concrete wall. We asked to be moved. The second room was dirty. My husband found spots of blood on his comforter. We slept on top of the covers because we were unsure the sheets had been changed. There was hair in the bathroom sink. The tub looked like it had not been cleaned. We had reservations for our return trip and we canceled. I want to emphasize the staff was friendly and helpful. We had no problem with anyone in the hotel.

The layout gives the room a lot more space. Haven't been in a Hampton Inn in years. This one was nice and had the amenities wanted. However the hallways to the room were sweltering! It's a hot, long walk to the room.
