"Plenty of space & definitely my favourite hotel in Colombo, if they can have a 24/7 open bar can definitely improve the quality of the place, unfortunately Cheers pub & breeze bar close around midnight"

"Good hotel but for the price they need to improve. Also room service is super expensive. The lobbies are well maintained but floors in the rooms are quite dirty. I also noticed a lot of dust in the headboard of the bed. Not sure why they made the wall in between the shower and the toilet room wall out of semitransparent glass. The breakfast buffet is alright but it does get quite crowded and the layout of of the buffet does not help"

"Marino Beach hotel was a welcome surprise. The lobby is beautiful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. The buffet was overflowing with variety, perhaps better than the Shangri-La. My only note is that if you are a light sleeper, the walls are very thin, and there is a lot of noise. Not from outside, such as traffic, but noise of other guests and cleaners slamming doors, etc. If not for this, it would be my favorite hotel in Colombo."
