"Nice location, staff.is helpful and breakfast is plenty"

"We stayed at the Junior Suite and the room was large and welcoming with a loft area and beautiful view. The hotel has a lovely outdoor garden setting restaurant, perfect for a glass of wine and a bite to eat after a day of sightseeing. And the location could not be better - a block away from the University Square. And the staff was very friendly and most helpful."

"Superb stay"

"Sofia Studios was great value considering the incredible central location it has in Coimbra. It was exceptionally clean and very easy to check in to. Staff are on hand during the day and are very helpful. Our only criticism is that he bathroom is really small with almost no counter space. As well, it's a lot of stairs to the third floor! Normally that wouldn't be a factor for us - and it was completely as advertised - but my wife sprained her knee earlier in our Portugal trip. For anybody with...

"Atendimento funcionários excelente , localização e estacionamento"

"A well placed hotel for visiting the city. Lovely art deco designs are everywhere, and the hotel has real character. Arriving during a yellow warning heatwave, the air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was quiet varied, with a hot food option in the form of bacon and eggs. The real highlight was the help we received from the hotel staff. They were engaging, and able to answer our queries about where places were, and how to get about using the public transport...

"Loved the property and wanted to stay but the laundry soap is so strongly scented that we packed just enough for the nights sleep and went to another hotel by uber at 10 pm. We came back for the lovely breakfast with all windows open as we had to pack up and get our car. This super cute hotel at a great price was my whole reason gor coming to coimbra( we couldn't"

"Staff was not friendly at check-in. It is a long walk from Hotel Oslo. Warning for those with heavy luggage’s. Breakfast is nice."

"It was just what we needed for one night."

"Very good location, right on the main pedestrian street, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s also very convenient for getting to the various attractions. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy, and the shower area was also more spacious than usual. Just a small reminder regarding check-in: you won’t receive the check-in information automatically after making your booking. You’ll need to call the hotel or email their official email address to get the check-in details. It seems that they...

"cheap, clean, good location, helpful staff"

"Number of stairs are too many."

"It’s off the main road in a small back alley. Pretty easy to locate. You do have to pay for parking if you want to be near the lifts. It is within walking distance to most attractions"
