"This was a beautiful step back in time. If you are looking for perfection and pristine grounds, this isn’t for you. If you are looking for history, peace, and a quaint place to stay you’ve hit the jackpot. "
"This resort had several well maintained pools, an outdoor area, and a hot tub that we enjoyed. They also offered free transportation to downtown Charleston. The decor and furnishings were very nice. They also have an above average self serve coffee bar.
The only negative thing I can say is that our “inland view” was a view of an unsightly, uncovered work/storage area with a bunch of junk sitting out. "

"Small enough to feel comfortable and safe. Very friendly staff, from the desk to the room cleaners. Shower was nice-walk-in. Bedding was good but mattress was a bit lumpy. Not terrible by any means. The surroundings good and lots to see and do. Good food within walking distance. Would recommend and stay again! "
"I thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. There were many dining options and I loved the adult only pool and jacuzzi. The only complaint is that the jacuzzi was not hot or even warm. It would be nice if the jets were stronger."
