Changed my room booking without asking from two queens with pull out couch to just two queens. Front desk lady was super nice but said rates for downgraded room were more than original room so I couldn't get a refund. Would like the refund...

I have never given a motel 5 perfect stars, but this one deserves it. Clean, comfortable, polite and friendly staff, good breakfast, great room. Very pleased with everything!

Though Coalinga is a great halfway point between northern and Southern California, this property is average at best. They advertise as a pet friendly facility but charge extra for their stay and threaten to evict you if you get two complaints. They have you sign off on all the places your dog can’t go, but offer no designated area they can go. The rooms are also not designed to be pet friendly as they’re all the exact same…and carpeted. I’d also suggest requesting a ground level room if you’re planning to bring your furry family member. On a more positive the note, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were late to breakfast (not thinking it ended at 8:30) and the woman cleaning allowed us to get what we could before she had to put it away. The front desk was great and joked with us at checkin. It’s an all in all OK place to stay if you want to break up your drive from north to south or vice versa.

The hotel is lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive. The place was very clean. My room was large with a flat screen tv, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was nice also. A good assortment and filled me up for a few hours. But I didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the noise of traffic zooming by on the busy road all night long.

Great staff & service. Room was excellent. Lobby bar was a welcome touch after a long day’s drive. We plan our trip south annually to include a stop in Coalinga so we can have dinner at Harris Ranch. We inadvertently booked BW Plus on Jayne Ave. instead of the BW across the freeway from Harris Ranch (where we stayed last year), but will definitely return to BW Plus next year.

From Check-In with Emily to Check out, everything was spot on. Emily was so sweet and so friendly despite the rude lady she dealt with just before me. She's a star staff member. Breakfast was delicious, room was clean and spacious.

Great place to stay.
The room is quite spacious and clean. The mattress is comfortable, and the blanket is clean and warm, making the temperature perfect for sleeping. Overall, it was very clean and comfortable. During breakfast, the staff member Maria was friendly, and the food was warm and clean. The pancake-making machine was particularly fun, and my child loved it. The pancake was also excellent. Arriving late at night, I didn't know much about the surroundings, but in the morning, I saw a magnificent view of almond trees in front. If I pass by here again, it's a place I'd like to stay. The price, including free breakfast, is quite attractive.
