Top Clitheroe Hotel Reviews

Hampton By Hilton Rochdale
10/10 Excellent
"Good value hotel in a Central location. Good breakfast and gym"

Strathmore Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"I have already told the hotel management where the hotel does not meet the standards I would expect. Comparing my experience of the present hotel with my experience when it was a Shearings. The breakfast was a disgrace, the carpets throughout are badly stained, the paintwork is very tired being dirty and scuffed all over, the outside paved area requires weeding and jet washing, bed very uncomfortable, no bathmat. The only redeeming feature was the welcome by the receptionist on arrival."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston

"The hotel was excellent, the spa was also really good. Breakfast was very nice. My room was pretty clean, something left under the bed, otherwise all good. Would recommend and will very likely go back."

Holiday Inn Bolton Centre by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"5 Star luxury from start to finish. Beautiful location and parking was so easy. The property itself must of just had a refurbishment as the room was fantastic. Fellow guests were welcoming especially when chatting at the front of the building. Local people actually visit the front of the hotel and chat to guests. Didn’t make it to the pool however the bath in the room was the size of a swimming pool."

Thurnham Hall Resort
10/10 Excellent
"A stunning facility in a rural property in belies the quality of this place. Check in was painless, efficient and helpful with clear directions to our room, once there WOW. Walked into a very large room with more space one would expect in a 5 star establishment. Big comfortable bed, really good bathroom and kitchen to boot. If we were going to stay in the area this would be the place to choose. Had dinner there and service was lovely, food plentiful and tasty and a pre dinner drink in the bar was greatly appreciated. Lawns and gardens immaculate and delightful to wonder around. Only concern are the narrow roads leading to the property but one must remember it is rural England so careful driving is advised."

Park Hall Hotel & Spa Lancashire, a member of Radisson Individuals
6/10 Okay
"The hotel itself was nice overall. The long driveway up to it did have a few pot holes no big deal really. The main car park right in front was a bit on the small side. The outside had a lovely lake to the front. The main reception area was very nice and modern. Reception staff were pleasant and polite nice easy check in. Room was as expected clean and well presented although very warm especially the bathroom, there was no obvious way to cool it down the radiators were 'off'. It would of been nice to have a fridge in the room. My biggest issue was the fact there was a techno rave on the grounds of the resort and the music and especially the bass thumping through the floors meant no sleep till 2.30 am we were not aware of this upon booking and the event was not mentioned on their website and any mention off it was very hard to find on any social media or website. If id of known id of not booked as I was expecting a relaxed lazy night away. Then even though the rooms were supposed to be soundproof I could hear next doors alarm go off a 6am and people clapping in the corridor at that time too. The breakfast was also really disappointing. The orange juice had split (dont know how that happens) the scrambled eggs looked anemic with watery cream surrounding them, the fried eggs burnt on the bottom, sausages were hard shrivelled and tasteless, bacon very fatty, mini pan au chocolates were hard and dry. The spa was one of the saving graces. Overall expected more."

Foxfields Country Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Easy to find, lots of parking, welcoming staff"

Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa
8/10 Good
"I have stayed here a few times the facilities are good the menu doesn't set the world alight but its ok, breakfast is fairly basic, the coffee needs more coffee and the staff need to interact with the guests more - no eye contact no good mornings as they pass the service is perfunctory, the spa gym team were friendly and chatty but the bar and restaurant staff definitely need some customer service refreshers."
