"Staff very poorly handled check-in. They roped of part of the access to the Check In Kiosks, leading to a very long line to talk to an actual person at the front desk, only to find out that there was no problem with the Kiosks at all. Very poor communication. Parking at the Hotel was also very poorly explained. Part of website says parking was free, but I was charged $35 for initial parking privilege, and an additional $20 a day. The TV self check out app was not working correctly. It took me 20 minutes for the actual menu to show up, then it crashed right when I selected Check-Out, and the TV turned off on it's own. This forced me to go stand in line to talk to a Front Desk Clerk to confirm that my Self Check-Out had been received. Finally, only 3 of the 8 elevators for my floor were operational during my two night stay. "

"Over-Promised, Under-Delivered We booked this hotel for a 3-day festival trip based on advertised proximity to the venue and a 4-star rating. Instead, we experienced misleading marketing, poor service, and a room that didn't match its description. Location: The hotel claims to be "closest" to the festival, yet reaching the actual entrance required a 20-minute walk—not the quick access promised. Check-In: Despite advance online payment and notification of late arrival, digital keys weren't available. We waited 40 minutes for the only staff member who could issue physical keys, then were forced through an entire check-in process again. The Room: We reserved a "2-room suite" expecting separate living and sleeping areas. Instead, we got a studio apartment partitioned by a thin wall. A mini-fridge with 2 waters was the only amenity. The ice machine was broken, and vending machines were sold out. Service Issues: Only 3 thin towels provided; extra blankets cost $50. No housekeeping unless specifically requested. Breakfast vouchers covered only 3 limited options not on the menu. Late Checkout: Staff aggressively enforced the 11 AM deadline, banging on our door and calling repeatedly. We were charged $50 for late checkout—a fee never mentioned at check-in. At comparable prices to nearby superior properties like Sahara and Fountainbleau, the Ahern is overpriced, policy-heavy, and fundamentally disappointing. Do not book."
