"I usually don’t talk negative about businesses, but this one deserves it. For the price paid, it was a poor value. Drapes were hanging off and couldn’t be closed. Many areas of the room were dirty with old dirt. Sheets had minor stains and smelled of staleness. Bathroom had several dirty areas and broken tile where the rod was loose. Worst of all, the room smelled of mildew or dampness, which caused most of our family to have minor allergy symptoms by the morning. We opted not to use the shower. Very disappointed and a waste of money. I am the last person to exaggerate, so you can trust my review."

"This is basic accommodation with no elevator. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The shampoo and body wash in the shower had pump tops which are easier to use than the squeeze bottles so many places use now. We didn't try the included breakfast but it didn't look like there was a lot of options."

"I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the bed, which was extremely firm and uncomfortable. A good night's sleep is one of the main reasons for booking a hotel, and I struggled to get comfortable throughout my stay. What made the experience even more frustrating was a problem with my late checkout request. The day before departure, I spoke with a front desk employee and specifically requested a late checkout for the following day. She told me it had been approved. However, on checkout day, we were informed that we did not have a late checkout and were unexpectedly rushed to leave the room. This was particularly inconvenient because my boyfriend had recently undergone an appendectomy, which was the reason I requested the late checkout in the first place. Had I known the request wasn't actually confirmed, I could have made other arrangements. The staff I interacted with were polite, but the lack of communication and follow-through created unnecessary stress during an already challenging situation. Overall, the uncomfortable bed and checkout confusion left me disappointed with what should have been a straightforward stay."
