"I did not receive my check-in information until a few hours before check-in time and after emailing the hotel. This was quite disconcerting. The fact that it is a self check-in process was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my liking. The only toiletries in the bathroom were 6 or 8 small bottles of shampoo and a bottle of hand wash. "The room was great , clean and tidy , warm and modern bright bathroom. The staff were brilliant very friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was top notch too. We eat in the forge bar, two nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Villa Rose for wee break. "
