Clean room, comfortable bed, nice pools. Super quiet no background music. Personally would like some music in the background while having dinner or drinks. Partner ordered a pizza which was obviously a frozen one. Wouldn't recommend one. I had spring rolls and they were good. Overall a nice stay.

The former Novotel Chumphon

quite nice rooms, but the aircon barely worked, so the room temperature stayed at 26 degrees all night, the engineer tried to fix it, but that did not help a lot, breakfast was good a la carte, because not many guests

This must have been a top hotel when it was built 40-50 years ago. Today, it needs a bit of investment to catch up with modern hotels. On the other hand, the price is modest and if that is put into account, the price/value ratio is very ok.

Helt ok… men ikke stort mer enn det

En relativt ok resort, men nå utenom sesong så man hvor slitent det var. De holdt dog på med en del fiksing her og der. Det ligger ganske øde til og lite å gjøre i omtådet(ikke dra hit med ungdom!) Det var knapt gjester på hotellet overhodet, og derfor var vel også det meste av hotellet stengt ned. Spa var stengt. Ingen matkurs. A la Carte til frokost pga lite mennesker( ingen buffet, forståelig nok!) og det ene bassenget var stengt. Tror egentlig det meste var stengt ned for regnsesongen… Det var i hvertfall ikke som på bildene. Hotellet fikset transport til ferjekaia(9 km). Det var veldig fint, men dyrt i forhold til hva vi har betalt for transport andre steder i thailand denne uken. Det var en restaurant over gaten som serverte NYDELIG mat (kjempe billig!). Hotellet ligger rett ved stranda, men den var nå folketom og full av plast/søppel(og løshunder). Men man kan se at den nok er veldig fin i høysesong! Renholdet på rommet kunne vært en del bedre. Hår i og rundt badekaret som ikke var våre, hylla under vasken var full av støv og det lå flere døde insekter under sengene. Og man fikk kun 1 dorull!? Vi gadd ikke gå til resepsjonen å be om mer da vi kun ble én natt, men det kunne fint vært satt ut en til fra start av. Men romslig område, fint bassengområde og nærme stranden er pluss.

Ancien hôtel de luxe, bien conservé.

Arrives sous la pluie dans un hôtel très grand et assez vide. Un ex hôtel d’une chaîne internationale. Tout est à la fois un peu ancien, mais très confortable, car très bien entretenu. Très grande chambre avec balcon et vue mer entre les arbres. Mieux vaut être motorisé car rien autour. Personnel très sympathique.
