This was at the Wyndham standard you would expect. Great amenities and lovely hotel. The area itself is a 15-20 minute walk from the gardens and more central part of the city which was a nice walk for us but you might want to consider when booking. Overall would stay here again.

Perfect walking distance from the botanical gardens, parks, restaurants, and city life. The room was clean and staff were friendly. Our breakfast was good too!

Hotel is fine. No parking on site was a real drag. Public parking lot next door was 36$ for overnight.

We needed to be in Christchurch for several differing reasons, and a busy schedule that was to be carless. This hotel was ideally located to get to and from on foot and with public transport close by. The staff were friendly and helpful but remained professional as well. We will be back to stay again in the future!

Superior service and could be 5 star
Room was modern and spacious with excellent facilities. Cleanliness was of the very highest standards. Location is within easy walking distance of CBD. Only issue was at front desk reception which was adequate but lacked the enthusiasm and warmth one expects. Correct this and this has the potential to be a first rate establishment.

The room was very clean and staff were helpful. Easy access to transport. The in-house restaurant was open only for a short time.

Good location. Parking was the only issue. Had to pay $20 a day and a parking spot was allocated but few times other cars were parked in our spot.

Weird thing - the hotel itself was great - no complaints - modern, clean, efficient staff etc. But - what ruined my 2 night stay was the room across the hall and another room a few doors down the corridor. The occupants were connected somehow and they knocked on, opened and slammed (auto closed but VERY audible) the door consistently (sometimes 2 or 3 times a minute) but certainly hundreds of times over the 2 nights. Starting around 5pm and going until nearly midnight. I didn't feel right complaining as it was xmas day and didn't want to cause any trouble for the workers. The hotel could check their security cameras to see what I'm talking about - it was beyond bazaar and beyond frustrating. If that hadn't happened I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

While washing machine was broken, the staff went well beyond to help and extended my checkout time to allow me to use another room to finish. Great staff. Things happen no big deal it’s how it’s handled that counts and they were awesome. Thank you

the property itself was clean and new, however the staff at front desk were incredibly rude. There is no parking available to be pre purchased, its a first come first serve, and the property has a issue with plumbing because the whole floor smelt like burnt poo. Would not go back there.

I stayed at this property twice during my 2 week vacation to Christchurch and the South Island. Convenient location to downtown as well as rental car depots close by. Modern, comfortable and quiet rooms made for great rest. Fitness room on basement floor though small, has everything you need. Cafe attached but did not visit. Check in staff were generally helpful but not overly friendly or warm. Overall I would definitely make this my accommodation of choice for future visits.
