This accommodation is a within a 20 min stroll to cbd in christchurch and has some good options for eating out within a few minutes walk. The place is comfortable and the host's were helpful & polite. EV chargingcalso available.

Getaway

This hotel is about 15 minute walk to the city. It is quiet , well appointed & comfortable. The only downside are all rooms are upstairs.

Clean & comfortable with good parking

3 night stay with daughter so 2 bed apartment ideal. Clean & comfortable with covered parking and 15 minute walk to centre. Good kitchen facilities. Lighting could be a bit brighter.

We enjoyed the fact that it was very peaceful once we were in our unit. The water pressure in the shower has a great water pressure. The towels were fluffy and absorbent. The drink caddy was topped up daily. The safety aspect of handrails for the stairs and along the balcony was also appreciated especially when it had been raining. The undercover parking was also appreciated by us. Thank you for making our first bit to the South Island an amazing experience. Our stay was good we stayed 3 nights, Had our beds made one time and the second night they were not remade. The only other issue is 1 ply toilet paper. But the manager was lovely and it is in a great central location with parking. Great shower as well. Pretty happy with our stay. Our unit also had a stovetop.

C Motel was a great place to stay! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The appliances were modern and in good working order. The kitchen was well-stocked - I was able to cook meals without a problem. The bathroom had possibly the best shower I have ever used in a hotel, and the heated lamp was the perfect touch for a winter stay. The staff were incredibly helpful with coordinating a late check-in and giving tourist activity advice. The location was ideal - it was a just short walk to the CBD, with none of the noise of the downtown. Since I didn't have a car, I appreciated that there were many bus stops nearby, including a stop for the airport bus. If I return to Christchurch, I definitely plan to stay at C Motel again.

The owner and the receptionist are very kind and will give you a lot of information. They speak many languages, including English, Chinese, and Japanese, so it's very easy to communicate. The kitchen is spacious and easy to use, and the facilities are quite complete. The bathroom is clean, spacious, and easy to use. Christchurch felt colder than Auckland, but there was an electric mat under the sheets, so I was able to sleep warmly and comfortably. If I come to Christchurch again, I would like to stay here again. There are supermarkets and cafes nearby, so it's convenient. ^^
