This is a fairly remote town in Montana, frequently visited by birdwatchers. The local hotels are fairly tired. This place is a beautifully maintained heritage home, which is kept clean, and is quiet and safe. The hosts are thoughtful and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will continue return!
The owners of this B&B were very gracious even though we got there so late for our check-in. (10pm). My son, husband and I were on an adventure to find a national reserve and got a little turned around. We had planned to only stay one night, but I asked if we could stay for another night (since I could see how nice it was, I wanted us to enjoy it longer rather than having to check out right away). We woke up to a nice breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast and jam cooked by his wife. I was so happy they had an opening for another night because we were going for an all-day fossil dig. The house has a fascinating history and it was all written up in a 3-binder in each room. The house was beautifully decorated with antiques and the bathrooms were modernized. They had flat screen TVs and access to streaming apps. They were helpful in recommending places to eat in the area. We weren't sure about our plans for the next day, but were thinking of going through Glacier National Park. The owner gave us a map and told us how to get there. He asked if we had a place to stay, and I hadn't booked anything yet. He recommended an excellent place that wasn't very far from East Glacier. My son loved their dog who was allowed in after breakfast was over. Later we met the Burmese cat who we all loved as well. The dog and cat were so cute and funny when they played with each other. Our stay was so much nicer than any hotel we could have chosen and the price was extremely reasonable.
I loved the homey place in which to spend the night and morning. Bob and his wife were the best. They welcomed us into their home, made us feel like we were apart of their family. Loved the conversations we had. Great place to hang ones hat for a night or even longer. Highly recommended!!
We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of Sara and Bob! Walking distance to the small town of Choteau. Enjoyed dinner and some good IPA at the Wagon Wheel along with some shuffle board in the outside area.
This was our first time staying at a bed breakfast. Everything went so smoothly. We would definitely stay at a bed. And breakfast again. Is the couple running it? For super nice, I had some great conversations.
Bob and Sara were amazing hosts. The room was comfy and we had the whole second floor to ourselves. I would totally recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Glacier.
A delightful place to stay in a great location just a few blocks off main street in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to downtown. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The entire home was nicely appointed. Bob and Sarah were very welcoming and had a wealth of local information.
We would recommend this as a first-choice place to stay in Choteau! We are looking forward to our next trip and staying at the Coffey House.
This place is amazing! The owners are a wonderful couple and pleasant to talk with. The room was spacious and very clean. I will most likely be staying there the next time I am there.
The Coffey House is a hidden gem in Choteau, MT. The historic house has been wonderfully renovated. Our room was spacious yet cozy. We had our own bathroom and the breakfasts were homemade daily. All modern amenities were available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again on our next visit to the area.
