"The hotel was clean, the room well equipped and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The only criticism we had was the food in the restaurant, whilst very nice, was not the fine dining experience we were hoping for. The menu, which includes burgers and fish & chips, didn’t reflect the surroundings of the dining room."

"We only booked because we wanted to be close to a restaurant we were going to. This meant we didn’t take advantage of restaurant, pool or gym. Parking is free but you have to drive around the town until you find a space so not ideal. The rooms are also spread out over three separate buildings. We were over the road from reception but if you need anything, the very friendly staff bring it over to you.little tip Bring your own tea & coffee. We chose a snug room , our friends who are quite tall...

"Hotel was clean, Stella on Reception was excellent. She offered first class customer service and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She went over and above to ensure our family stay was enjoyable. Not impressed with the food. Breakfast was okay and bar food need some reviewing. Kitchen was not flexible around the menu for those with allergies or with children. When we asked to swop the chips for rice on our child’s meal we were told we couldn’t! "

"Lovely grounds and excellent staff. The deluxe room was nice. It was tired, it would benfit from a fixutres and fitting refresh. We were comfortable and I wouldn't let this stop me booking again. The jacuzzi was not operational on both day and this was disappointing. I feel something could have been done to compensate for this. The pool was also a touch cold for me. I booked 2 treatments.
