"We had a very nice stay and will return. It was surprisingly quiet at night, considering the location on Geary. Parking was easy - we were able to drive out to dinner and park again. "Excellent experience and service at this lovely historic hotel! The front desk staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. My standard queen room was quiet and comfortable; I loved the pretty bathroom with clawfoot tub! Room had a tiny fridge which is always helpful. Breakfast was served in a gorgeous dining room with hot options and waffles. Coffee, tea, and bottled water are available all day. So glad I chose this hotel and would definitely be back!"

"Nicely appointed and convenient - great location for those who want to be near Golden Gate Park and Haight-Ashbury and near environs. Surprisingly quiet at night even though our room faced Stanyan. An old building, so you have to be okay with some creakiness; htough nicely renovated mostly. The sink has NOWHERE to put toiletries. The shower head collar was loose and not caulked - so beware of future mold in the wall. I can never understand why most hotels - even nicer ones - are so terrible at...

"I stayed during the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the location was perfect. Trek bike shop near by, food not far away and close to race start. The staff were great, rooms were big and bus stop out the front. It really was the best spot for this race. The bath was good post race as well. Overall highly recommend!"

"Centrally located. Nice to have free parking in the city. I liked that we were given new towels everyday. Also, full shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion in the room. Coffee in the room replenished everyday. But the rooms and the lobby did not look like the pictures. The rooms were dark, and the carpet old. The elevator was broken and we were on the third floor, having to carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Sadly, it was advertised as quiet but we could hear everything in the rooms on...

"Such a clean and charming bed and breakfast with so much character. The shared spaces are welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic each and every day! The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."

"The hotel was stylish & clean, which we always aim for & appreciate. The hotel is located in an area that requires some walking to public transport to get to many popular city destinations. We rode the cable car from Powell & Market to the waterfront to get there- which was a highlight! Otherwise, it was a great stay, the room had a nice window seat and the bathrooms were recently redone. We liked the hotel itself a lot; but probably would have picked one closer to attractions if we knew the...

"I was surprised at how convenient and clean this hotel is! I love that it has an outdoor seating area and enclosed parking area even though it's limited space. I slept well, thanks to being on the 3rd floor. Be aware that there are no elevators so schlepping suite cases or luggage's can be challenging to some. But I would stay here again, in a heartbeat!"

"My stay at Hotel Drisco was wonderful! Extremely helpful and courteous staff, impeccable rooms with every amenity, and a lovely breakfast and evening wine/cocktail hour. Located in an upscale, quiet neighborhood, but still walking distance to dining, shopping, site seeing, etc. Hotel Drisco exceeds many of the 5-star sites in San Francisco and parallels 5-star European stays. Impressive!"
