"Liked the staff and daily breakfast. Wasn’t happy with having my room cleaned for the first time. I was there 4 days before I got it cleaned. I complained and then management made sure it was cleaned every other day."
"Room (snake) was super comfortable and spacious, and I love how it was decorated. Breakfast was lovely. And even though there was music in the evening and our room was nearby, it was not loud enough to prevent us from our early night sleep needs. Only complaint was the parking was very tight. The first night we fit, the second night, another guest’s huge truck was parked catty corner to the resident food truck and we were prevented from parking in our spot. It’s just a tight lot. Lovely...
"Pleasant, peaceful, comfortable. Beautiful inside and out. Greatest by a friendly dog, visited by an affectionate cat in the patio. Comfortable living room well stocked with books. The only con was seasonal pesty mosquitoes. Perhaps fragrance plants wonts would help."
"Cozy, clean and friendly motel located conveniently on the Santa Fe main drag. Like stepping back in time with a cool neon sign and vintage Southwestern charm with no hipster nonsense. Management accommodated our slightly late arrival with no worries."

"The staff was welcoming and friendly. All areas of hotel were clean including our room. Property was well lit at night. Especially want to give a shout out to Katrina at the restaurant, she made our stay even better! Very attentive to everyone at the bar and for morning breakfast. She was very busy and didn’t miss a person in the bar. She stood out as a real “hustler”. Made us all feel like we were a local!"
"I absolutely love the vibe of The El Rey. It has that perfect blend of vintage and modern and the property is incredibly beautiful. It is convenient to shopping in Santa Fe and there are many great restaurant options near by. Every time I stay, I hate to leave. "
