"Great for 1 night business stay"

"Thank you to Sabrina the duty manager for responding to the issues we experienced positively and for taking ownership of them. She was a credit to the hotel, worked hard and clearly cared about the guest experience. Sabrina was also thoughtful as she knows the other issues we experienced (nothing to do with the hotel) following a recent visit to Mexico. We originally booked an accessible room. "Check in very slow and after travelling 3 hours with elderly disabled parents, our room was not ready, which is understandable. But the only offer to get changed for a wedding was in the changing rooms a flight of stairs down or the toilets! The girl on reception was adamant there wasn’t any other option available and was very unconcerned of the needs for my disabled mother. Breakfast the next morning was also very poor and hardly any hot food left on the buffet. The disable room wet room was...

"Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. "
