Nice surprise

We needed an inexpensive room for the night. Choose Travelodge for the price. The room was nice and I liked the setup with the bathroom sink area separate from the beds, Also the fridge was easy to access. The room was also very clean and quiet.

The room did not look like the advertisement when I booked. Now, the room was clean enough. It was not the image advertised. The room was very small and crowed with the furniture. The office was very up undated and needed work. The people were okay. The whole place was just not appealing.

Our stay was just OK. We slept well but the highway was so close to the property that the noise of large trucks driving by was not the best. The pool was very nice, well kept, and clean. Little things in the room like the bathroom door was breaking at the bottom and should be repaired. For the price of the room I should not complain too much.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However the facility was very dated and there were roaches and bugs in our room. Staff came in and sprayed but the building itself needs upgrading. Nothing they could have done.

Looking for a small town experience and to add some extra distance to our travels. Owners seem to be making an effort to improve the property. New tile in the bathroom, but the fixtures need some attention. Shower head was so caked with calcium there was hardly any water flow. Towels were very thin. Room had a very 70s vibe. Odd choice of wall colors. Road noise was pretty noticeable, but didn’t keep me awake. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Sheets and spread were clean. Breakfast was Spartan but coffee was good. Next time I would do Abilene or push on to Childress. All in all it was ok for an overnight.

Very clean and neat room. Comfortable bed. Hot water for shower. Very limited amenities. Breakfast bar with good coffee. Only 1 person in office and he was busy with his own problems. We waited 15 minutes for check in. Very noisy because so many construction workers staying there.
