It was ok. Staff is pleasant. Breakfast is ok but not much choices. The linens looked clean but there was a ‘sweaty smell’ from the pillows and bed, and the room. I let the front office know to at least spray air freshener but nothing done about it. On our scheduled room cleaning , the bed was not made up. I don’t like giving a bad review. stayed at residence inn at other locations before and I like them a lot. Also parking is free at other locations. This one you have to pay $12/day

Get what you pay for
Price good. Convenience good. Friendliness of staff great. Size of room good. Breakfast was below average. Coffee was weak and eggs were bad. Facility is showing lots of wear. Leaky faucet, worn out mattress, fixtures dated.

The room was very clean and cozy. The fireplace was a nice touch as well. The lady at the front desk was wonderful as well and even let me borrow a phone charger as I had forgotten mine. I will be back again!

Expect improvement….
I stay at residence inn many places, usually very clean, but this Bloomingdale, it’s getting worse every time I stay. Maybe worst of all residence inn I stayed. This time the room was with full of trash when arrived, and smelled bad. The bathtub didn’t drain.Also they clean the room every 1 in 2 days but they didn't change bed sheets in my all 4 nights stay. I was so surprised. I use here due to good location for my business so I hope they improve. I think they renovated the carpets and wall paper, so the room smell improved much than before. Staffs are always nice here. As for Breakfast, other residence inn are better. Columbus Polaris was good in my recent stay.

The room is old and run down. The AC was a portable very loud machine turning on and off all night making it difficult to rest. There were long hairs in the shower and on the "clean" towels. The shower is old and has rust as does the toilet and sink. This hotel really hurts the Marriott standard.

Don't stay here
It was disgusting. I took 20 minutes to get checked in. The couch smelled like urine, there was trash left from the previous guest behind the TV. The TV didn't work. It was gross. When we complained to the front desk it was like they didn't care. Cam home with 2 bites from some kind of bug...

My issue was they charged me $450. Upon check in and they said it was for incidentals. So upon arrival we grabbed a 3 waters , they would not let me pay with cash or debit card and forced me to charge it to my room. I thought that was strange but upon checkout I figured out why they do this. The next day we got 3 more water 3 candy bars and 3 small bags of chips. Upon checkout they charged me $75.00 for those items. They do this so they can get the money back from what was list in profits booking through Expedia.

My air conditioner did not work for 2 nights so I slept in 60 degree temperature. I called to report it the first night and the suggestion was to turn the heat up and wait until it turned on. It never did.

Good stay
Stay was very good. Comfortable and clean. Only thing is the unit for the ac/heat was in a little closet area in bedroom area and hummed deeply and annoyingly while on.

Property is Beautiful but when my husband and I checked in the host at the desk was not friendly and I felt uncomfortable after I gave my credit card she then want me to sign a paper saying no partying I have stayed here a few weeks ago we were not presented with this paper to sign I really do not like playing the race card but this was very uncomfortable for husband and I she did not have to be rude about this

We do have all of our guests sign our no party policy at check-in as some of our guests have been displaced from their homes, and our hotel is like their home for an extended period of time.
