Exceptional hotel. The accommodation and dining (breakfast and lunch) were excellent. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Took us to the gate of the Old City on Mercedes or van. Highly recommended. Will stay at this wonderful hotel if we visit Chiang Mai again.

Utterly outstanding property. Beautiful property and rooms. The staff is professional and super friendly. Ideally located at walking distance from commercial and historic sites but in a very quiet area. But the absolute best is the spa. Perhaps the single best one that I hace been to.

The hotel is fairly new, but was built in the colonial style, giving it a unique character. The staff is well trained and attentive, and the Thai massage is the best I had anywhere in Thailand. The area is quiet, and the greenery around the pool/dining area makes it feel like a little oasis. I highly recommend this place ! Gabrielle Korell

A beautiful and charming boutique hotel. The service is outstanding and complimentary breakfast. Downside is that dinner has to be reserved the day before. However the food is vast and delicious. We had the best massage at the son. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would like the bathroom to be upgraded though. The pool is refreshing but not kids friendly as it is deep. I would booked this hotel again. Thank you for a wonderful service .

Beautiful boutique hotel, attention to detail.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, personable, charming, friendly and helpful staff with well appointed rooms, if a bit small, and interesting features. Rooms have ceiling fans and four poster beds. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Staff go out of their way to accommodate you. One morning I enquired about avocado which was not available on the buffet. It was explained that it's out of season and hard to find however, the next morning I was presented with a beautifully plated avo. Staff had gone out to source some on their way home. There are many little touches like this. The colonial style building is a cool refuge against the heat. Extra features include an old style, pedal bike tuk tuk. They were kind enough to give us a test drive. And a vintage Mercedes, a treat for car lovers. Location wise, it is outside of the old town but easy enough to get to everything. Lots of lovely little restaurants within easy access too. The library and bar area is stunning. Cocktails were well made with care and delicious. A seat next to the pool is peaceful and relaxing. Watch out for the mozzies though, unavoidable in the climate so wear protection. The swimming pool does not really get sun except in the morning but I feel this is a design element to keep things cool. Would happily recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing stay if you want to be away from crowds. The attention to detail is also appreciated. A little on the pricey side though depending on when you book.

We feel that this boutique hotel is ideal for couples, whilst it is situated in relatively quiet area it is a short walk to a river cruise as well as a really large night market with over a hundred food and clothing stalls. There are ample restaurants within an easy walk, it's only 15 minutes from the airport by taxi and 5 minutes from the old city by tuk tuk. The staff here are amazing, they are warm and friendly and really go out of there way to care for their guest's. The hotel has that old colonial feel, it has a lovely pool and serves a very good breakfast. Mr Noom works the tour desk and can not only take you on a tour, he can advise you on a tour that suits your tastes. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would gladly stay here again. We even got taken for drive in the 1966 Mercedes.

Beautiful, peaceful location! The rooms were not your typical hotel rooms; they were very large and well appointed. Delicious prepared to order breakfast and convenient shuttle service to the old city.

It was good, as special treatments for Songkran season. The Spa was closed but we were recommend to another Peak Span with discount and one way transport. However, at the time of check-out, the staff was struggled with processing the credit card payment and we had to wait for 20+mins for it though we were rushing for going to the airport. After the processing she was staying on speaking on the phone with her colleagues about the processing without seeing guests off. Also, later on received email from hotel that the initial deposit payment wasn’t cancelled immediately but have to be on held for 15 days subject to refund. To sum up mentioned issues above are terrible. No intention to blame that staff just because of her lacking of experience but the hotel shouldn’t put her on the morning shift as the sole front operation. Secondly the staff should not stay on the phone but she should send the guest off particularly after her having caused inconveniences to the guests. Lastly, the Payments was anyhow not processed smoothly but double charged but subject to refund of the initial one. So disappointing.
