Good priced accommodation if you don't want to be in a hostel.Room 6 is nice and quiet.Basic facilities in room big tv, fridge and bed that is not like sleeping on a rock.Perfect for budget travelers. Nice restaurant downstairs
The staff was friendly, but that is about the only positive comment I have. The room was a 4th storey walk-up, with very steep stairs. There was a broken sconce lamp above a desk. The safe lacked batteries, so it was unusable. I did not try to get batteries from the staff because that would have required going down and up the daunting stairs. The shower worked, with hot water, but there was no shower area, so using it made the entire bathroom floor wet. A small bottle of shampoo and of shower gel were provided, but not replenished for the second night. The towels were very worn, with threads hanging from them. I would not stay there again.
This is a great local place to stay. It's a small operation with maybe 6 rooms which gives it the feel of a bed and breakfast given the restaurant downstairs. The rooms and bathroom feel old but clean and with plenty of space and comfortable beds. No problem with mosquitos either and the AC worked plenty fine. It would have been nice to have a true sheet to go with the blankets but it still felt clean. The handful of people running the place were all very friendly. We booked a few activities through them and also did some laundry which they promptly booked and fronted the cost for. No one spoke fluent English but a few of the guys spoke it well enough that we got every point and question across. Breakfast provided some variety and was satisfying. Nothing gourmet to rave about but it definitely did the trick before heading out, especially given how quickly they took your order and brought it out. Location was also perfect. It's just inside the North side of the old city which puts you in walking distance to pretty much all the sites within the old city. There's also a Women's Massage Center literally next door which is super convenient. You may also want to check out the Cowboy Hat lady just over the bridge for some delicious and cheap eats. Overall, this place is not luxurious but a very comfortable local stay. This is an easy recommendation. Enjoy!
From the time I walked into the hotel I could not have been happier with the food, location and most importantly the staff they were magnificent with always a beautiful and perennial smile. My WISH was like THEIR COMMAND NOTHING WAS THE SLIGHTESS PROBLEM.
Quel accueil!
Good place to grab a fast meal. Easy access to nearby tourist spot.Staff is friendly and massage parlour beside it made day tour back to hotel made the body relax.
Service was great, room was very clean and it was very, very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
We ate the cost and didn't even stay one night. Best decision of our trip. Save your money.
1. We asked to make a phone call, and the staff insisted I climb 3 stories back to the room to show them on the laptop who I was going to call, then insisted on calling for me.
2. After an overnight trip the refused to make us breakfast, stating they didn't know when our tour guide was coming. We had to wait 20 minutes, before literally begging them for something to eat before our trip. They eventually made us toast and fruit, but it was apparently very inconvenient for them.
3. The room smelled like someone recently died there, and had lizards running around in it.
We stay for 4 nights in 2 bookings. It is small hotel, the staff services are excellent. The room is clean, spacious & surrounding is quiet. Location wise is very convenient, near to old city area. Besides, they look after our rented motorcycle. The restaurant serves very good breakfast & meals. However please note the rooms are located on 3rd & 4th level of the building, can only access by staircase. The staff will help you to bring the luggage to your room. Overall we enjoy the stay very much.
We were there for 5 days without any big expectation. We were very surprised by the quality of the service offered at this guest house. They even offered to store the birthday cake of my girlfriend in the kitchen until the time that i give it to her.
Even if they had limited English, they were doing their best to understand and help us with their heart.
very clean place
well located
cheap
good food
We will be back there for sure!
It would be great if they could offer the option of breakfast included in the future/
