Good hotel for price

For the price, this hotel is really good. Large bed, fridge, kitchen sink and bath tub. Owner and other staff are really friendly and helpful. It is a little loud at night as near a Muay Thai arena but for £12 a night you can’t complain.

Bautong was a safe haven for my late night arrival. They answered my messages promptly and assured me that someone would be up waiting for my arrival. The room was large and clean with everything you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. I only changed hotels to be in the old town and closer to the action. I would definitely stay here again if coming through Chiang Mai.

Booked this place for the location, we expected basic but clean accommodation. but Absolutely Filthy, no housekeeping or removing rubbish from bin or toilet during our stay. Filthy towels full of holes (see photo) , noisy activities in neighbouring rooms with men partaking of local services, you run the gauntlet of catcalls from bar girls on the same street when returning home in the evening. A crop of suspicious insect bites after sleeping in the bed. We found another hotel and left early. Its not worth it, avoid avoid avoid.

Low cost comfort

All I was looking for was a cheap place to stay with a comfortable bed and a place to shower. This hotel was just fine for that. The staff is super friendly and helpfull and I have stayed there about 4 times now.

iT'S CHEAP BUT OLD...VERY OLD...TOWELS ARE TORN, FURNITURE IS REALLY WORN OUT..THE KICKER FOR ME IS THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE 15 BAHT FOR A COFFEE IN THE LOBBY...PAY AND LITTLE MORE ELSEWHERE AND GET A DECENT ROOM WITH DECENT LINENS AND TOWELS...PENNY WISE AND POUND FOOLISH...

Excelente .... desde do check in ate check out, Sentimos em casa... tudo perfeito... perto de tudo, lugar totalmente seguro, compramos tours no hotel. voltaria novamente. Perto da cidade velha, perto de bons restaurantes, pertos de bons spas, perto de templos , perto da feirinha, fizemos tudo a pé.

Começando pelo check in, excelente atendimento, super atenciosa a recepcionista, total atenção. o quarto espaçoso, tv, ar, banheira , sacadinha, tudo ótimo. Silencioso. Great price, perfectly comfortable

This is an older hotel and the price obviously reflects that. Having said that, I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay. They management was wonderful and I would definitely recommend this hotel to a budget minded traveler looking for a place in the Chaing Mai area
