Akira Manor in Chiang Mai is an exceptionally run hotel. Service, clean rooms, friendly staff, restaurant and pool are just perfectly run. Would return if I come back to Chiang Mai.

Great boutique hotel, close to airport and well located in Nimman neighbourhood, we received a complementary bottle of sparkling wine from the manager, nice touch. The hotel's Italian restaurant was also top notch, good service overall except for checkout they seemed to find mini bar charges that I do not remember having.Overall great hotel.

Akyra Manor Chiang Mai is an amazing hotel with spacious luxury rooms and facilities on a quiet side street but within walking distance to all the action. All the staff members are very polite, friendly, and welcoming, and speak English well. A special thank you to the young front desk gentleman who tirelessly helped me to confirm a flight booking. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic hotel and fantastic service. Rooms were clean. Restaurant delicious. Look forward to going back. Exercise room a bit tight but that's all right as that's not the main reason to be in Chiang Mai.

Convenient location to check out Nimman area like No.1 Nimman or night market nearby. It’s also not far from the night food market at Chiang Mai University. The only thing matters me from the facility is that it is so close to the next resident building so the window blinds off day and night. Not friendly natural light for the girls who want to make up. Hence, we ran out of the toilet paper on the 1st day and no spare one in the bathroom cabinet. It took them a while to send the spare one to the room. Beds and mattress comfy to delivery a good sleep. So good option for 1 night stay.

Good location but the hotel is NOT five star. Room was tired - there was obvious wear (damaged floors, curtains were stained, some things didn't work right) and roaches in my room. The public areas are small and even more cramped with outside restaurant guests - I couldn't find a seat around the pool/bar for instance. The staff was courteous but the level of service was nice but again, NOT five star - for instance, there was not a regular doorman nor was there a dedicated concierge desk.
