Had you mentioned it to manager we would have been happy to move you to a ground floor room had there been one available. I hope this won't put you off coming back in future. Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback, we have tried to contact you a few times via phone to discuss the issues you raised and left a voicemail to return our call, to no avail.We were not made aware of any of these issues in your room during the first night, you asked for a ground-floor room once you had checked in, but as we were fully booked, we were unable to move you to a different room. You had discussed with one of the managers in the evening, that the room was quite noisy but had told him that the room was lovely other than this?The following morning, you decided to check out, the duty manager offered you a free upgrade to one of our signature doubles as you advised you didn't sleep too well. You declined, as you said you had already booked alternative accommodation. As per our T&C's, we require 24 hours notice for cancellation otherwise the nightly rate will be charged.We offered you alternatives, which you did not wish to accept.I am sorry you feel this way, but we did all we could for you during your stay and you did not make us aware that you were unhappy with the standard of your room, only that you would have preferred a ground-floor room and that due to noise (external to the hotel) you had a disturbed sleep
