"Quiet and comfy room, by the canal about 15 mins walk from the centre of Chester. Good selection at breakfast. Slight negative was I followed the parking directions given to park at station only to then walk to hotel and find there was parking directly outside (same price too)."

"Hotel chose for closeness to railway station was so close across the road.Bus stop facing every 15 minutes to centre of town and shops .All types of shops close to the river lovely walk and boat ride.Hotel excellent clean staff really pleasant helpful food both evening meal and breakfast absolutely gorgeous.Would definitely go back again Fanulous garden for sitting out in the good weather ."

"Very nice hotel in the centre of Chester. Great restaurant and a spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Only complaint was the show was a shower and tub combo which didn’t drain well and was not easy to shower in. I think that’s more of a cultural thing with the UK preference vs American. All in all this is the best hotel in Chester that I have stayed in (stayed in a lot over the years)."

"Clean and tidy lots of history beautiful listed build with quirky features (watch the stairs the treads are all sizes) Breakfast good and overall for the price great value. The only downside was noisy services glass recycling at 05:30 waking me up. "

"Spacious rooms with terrace, right on the canal , breakfast was lovely , we also had steak in the Evening was delicious,very easy access to the town , and if you wanted a taxi you just pressed the button and it was outside in 5 min"

"Fantastic welcome. Hotel has a great feel and looks really modern in the reception and bar area. Room very spacious with huge bed. Would return."
