"Room okay, no air conditioning but small desk fan in room, spa and pool very nice and nice hot tub , gym on site and massage facilities, hotel close to town , breakfast was not so good was looking forward to breakfast but sausage and bacon not cooked properly, fried eggs cooked to much and tomatos not cooked properly so ended up having breakfast in town"

"The property was disappointing. I booked a 4 poster bed and it was a 4 poster just 4 planks of wood 1 at each corner with no drapes. Check in was unbelievable, we arrived at 2.30pm to be told we couldn't check in till 3! I stay in hotels all over Europe for 2 weeks out of 4 every month and have never been blocked for 30 minutes! "We were unaware when we booked that Chester Races were on that day (the Hotel is next to the Race course). We are very familiar with Chester having lived there for many years but we found it extremely difficult to manage the road closures and diversions around the hotel.
