"My wife and I had a great pit stop at Rose and Crown. Very clean and well maintained property. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in after a long day's travel and sightseeing. The self-serve continental breakfast was equally good. Highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely overnight stay here on 16/17 February. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the continental breakfast of cheese, salami, fruit and toast was delicious. We must mention the lady looking after the place for the owners - sorry that I have forgotten her name - she was super friendly and showed us the skittle alley and talked about the darts teams and the social activities they have planned. Would definitely stay here again when next in the area."

We hadn't realised that it was not a bathroom ensuit but shared one with three other rooms, but this was also very clean and luckily we were the only occupied room for the night we spent there. The staff were friendly and as we had to leave early the next morning kindly laid on a breakfast bap for us at 7am. An excellent setting next to the river and ideally suited for a short trip into Bath."
